This study analyzed 179,188 Medicare beneficiaries with Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) or related diagnoses (2014–2018) to explore geographic clustering and environmental triggers. Using spatial analyses (Moran's I, hot spot analysis), significant clusters were identified in Mississippi, New York, Wisconsin, and Michigan, some overlapping with Superfund sites. Findings highlight the potential role of environmental contamination in SSc incidence, warranting further investigation into etiological factors.
