The German Retina.net ROP registry and its EU‐ROP successor compared data to establish joint analysis procedures. Findings show data alignment between the two registries with minor adjustments. The EU‐ROP registry, with more detailed data, required granularity reduction to align with the other. Both registries mainly observed zone II, 3+ ROP severity, with decreasing preretinal neovascularization. Laser coagulation dominated in 2011, while anti‐VEGF therapy rose to 86.1% in 2021, shifting from bevacizumab to ranibizumab. Retreatment rates remained stable. This analysis highlights a treatment paradigm shift in Germany and a trend towards earlier treatment in 2021.
