This cohort study compared two techniques for combined anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and anterolateral ligament (ALL) reconstruction in knee surgery. The study aimed to determine if there were differences in graft rupture rates, complications, and patient-reported outcomes between the two techniques. The first technique used a continuous gracilis graft (CG) and a single femoral tunnel, while the second technique involved a separate gracilis graft (SG) and independent femoral tunnels. Results showed a low rate of graft rupture with no significant difference between the techniques (CG: 3.4%, SG: 2.8%). Complication rates were slightly higher in the SG group (10%) compared to the CG group (6%). Patient-reported knee function scores were similar for both techniques.
