The study compared the effectiveness of 730-nm and 1064-nm picosecond lasers in treating acquired dermal melanocytosis (ADM). After three sessions, the 730-nm group showed superior results in patient satisfaction, objective findings, and melanin reduction. Hyperpigmentation occurred similarly in both groups (15.4% in the 1064-nm group and 14.5% in the 730-nm group). The 730-nm laser, with better melanin selectivity and deeper penetration, may offer a more effective treatment for ADM.
