The study involved 22 pediatric patients with epidermal necrolysis (EN) compared clinical characteristics and outcomes based on etiology. Infectious EN was not observed among the cases. Findings revealed idiopathic EN to be more severe than drug-induced EN, with worse ophthalmological involvement and longer healing time. Identifying other causes requires further research. This study implies that idiopathic EN may be more severe than drug-induced EN in children.
