The meta-analysis compared suture and bony fixation techniques for meniscal allograft transplantation. The study included 334 patients, 184 of whom received suture fixation and 150 of whom received bony fixation. Outcomes like infection risk, graft failure, and extrusion showed no statistical differences. However, with short—to medium-term follow-up, further studies with longer follow-up are necessary to assess long-term effectiveness and graft longevity.
