This prospective, randomized study compared the efficacy of two Gelatin-Balanced Crystalloids in non-cardiac surgery patients. The experimental group received Succinylated Gelatin, Multiple Electrolytes, and Sodium Acetate Injection (SG-MESAI), while the control group received Succinylated Gelatin Injection (SGI). Results showed SG-MESAI maintained better balance in base excess, chloride ion, bicarbonate radical, and pH value than SGI at 15 and 30 minutes post-infusion. Incidences of adverse events were lower in the experimental group, indicating the safety of SG-MESAI in general anesthesia.
