CBCT use is widespread among UK endodontists, but further training is needed for certain clinical scenarios. This survey of 202 specialists revealed that 85.7% use CBCT for diagnosis and treatment, with 93.7% believing it improves care quality. Most use a small field-of-view scan (88.5%) and adjust exposure parameters for age and restored teeth. However, only 20.7% use CBCT to assess treatment outcomes.

Blocking miR-30e-5p reduced atherosclerosis in obese and atherosclerotic mice, highlighting a potential therapeutic pathway.

Varenicline increased tear production but needs further comparative validation.
