A secondary analysis of a cluster randomized trial assessed contraception use in 312 young women (≤45 years) with early breast cancer. Highly effective contraception use rose from 39% to 52%, while hormonal methods dropped from 22% to 3%. Factors influencing contraceptive changes included age <35 and provider discussion. Findings highlight the need for early contraceptive counseling in this population.
