This study investigates the contemporary burden and characteristics of coronary atherosclerosis using coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) among asymptomatic adults with diabetes and prediabetes. The findings reveal a higher prevalence and extent of coronary atherosclerosis, high-risk plaque, and stenosis in individuals with worse glycemic status. Notably, CAC was found to be more closely associated with CCTA.
