In the randomized trial, patients with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) were treated with corticosteroid irrigation (CSI) or intranasal corticosteroid spray (INCS). After 12 weeks, the CSI group showed significant improvement in polyp size (mLKS scores) compared to the INCS group. Both treatments showed similar effects on nasal symptoms, with no significant HPA-axis suppression. CSI proved to be more effective in reducing polyp size in non-surgical CRSwNP patients.
