The study aimed to investigate the survival rates of patients with stage III colorectal cancer (CRC) who received immediate postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy. The study analyzed the clinical data of 195 patients admitted to a hospital and found that patients who received intraperitoneal perfusion chemotherapy had better progression-free survival and overall survival rates compared to those who did not receive this treatment. The study concludes that the use of intraperitoneal chemotherapy with raltitrexed during laparoscopic radical resection of CRC can improve the survival rate of patients with stage III CRC.
