Current role of radiomics and radiogenomics in predicting oncological outcomes in bladder cancer

Radiomics and radiogenomics are medical imaging techniques used to analyze disease patterns and predict prognosis. In bladder cancer, radiomic and radiogenomic nomograms have been studied for predicting tumor grade, gene expression, and oncological outcomes. A systematic review of literature found radiogenomic nomograms generally had good performance in predicting primary outcomes. The study concludes that radiomic and radiogenomic models have predictive potential in advanced pelvic oncology, but further large-scale prospective studies are needed to validate results and generalize their use in modern medicine.
