Results showed that dapagliflozin induced an initial eGFR decline in 40% of patients, but this was not associated with increased cardiovascular or kidney risks. The findings support the recommendation not to interrupt SGLT2i treatment based on initial eGFR changes. The study underscores the safety of continuing SGLT2i therapy in heart failure patients.
