In the TROPION-Lung01 phase III trial, datopotamab deruxtecan (Dato-DXd) showed a clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival (OS) for patients with advanced nonsquamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) compared to chemotherapy. Although OS results did not reach statistical significance across all patients, significant benefits were observed in the nonsquamous NSCLC subgroup. The trial demonstrated superior progression-free survival (PFS) for Dato-DXd and an acceptable safety profile. Further regulatory review is anticipated.
