Defining Meaningful Change in Vestibular Migraine Symptom Scores

This study determines the minimal clinically important difference (MCID) for the Vestibular Migraine Patient Assessment Tool and Handicap Inventory (VM-PATHI) score. In patients with vestibular migraine, a score reduction of 6 points effectively distinguishes responders from nonresponders with a sensitivity of 72% and specificity of 70%. This MCID provides a meaningful benchmark for evaluating treatment outcomes in clinical practice.
