
Bihar witnessed a concerning surge in dengue cases, reporting 335 new infections in the past 24 hours. This raised the state's total dengue tally to 4,168, with over 93% of these cases emerging in September alone. Among the worst-hit areas, Patna accounted for 54 cases, followed by Bhagalpur with 20, and Saran, Munger, Nawada, and Vaishali reporting 18, 17, 17, and 13 cases, respectively. On Saturday, 261 patients were under treatment in various government hospitals, including 110 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital in Bhagalpur. Health experts reassure that most patients are recovering well.
