The phase III ANCHOR-1 and ANCHOR-2 trials demonstrated that depemokimab significantly improved outcomes in adults with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP). Both trials achieved the co-primary endpoints of reducing total nasal polyp scores and nasal obstruction from baseline to 52 weeks. The safety profile was comparable between the depemokimab and placebo groups, with a similar incidence and severity of treatment-emergent adverse events. Depemokimab’s long-acting properties and high binding affinity to IL-5 allow for potential dosing every six months. These findings position depemokimab as a promising treatment for CRSwNP, contributing to GSK's mission of advancing therapies for type 2 inflammatory conditions. Full results will be presented at an upcoming scientific congress.
