The DC group showed a statistically significant reduction in skin sensitivity compared to RC on Day 14. Clinical signs and symptoms were consistently reduced with DC throughout the study, demonstrating its effectiveness in minimizing RISD without compromising treatment efficacy. This suggests that DC can enhance treatment adherence, particularly during the initial 14 days of retinoid use.

An experimental triple antibiotic paste containing nitrofurantoin, ciprofloxacin, and metronidazole showed better cytocompatibility than conventional Hoshino antibiotic pastes and calcium hydroxide in human dental pulp stem cells. The paste maintained about 75% metabolic activity and better preserved cell viability, supporting further investigation as a medicament for regenerative endodontic procedures.

As a single-arm study, the findings are descriptive and require controlled confirmation.
