In a breakthrough study, experts have introduced the DMA-S to evaluate decision-making competence in postpartum urinary incontinence PPUI patients receiving PFPT. Results showed strong reliability (Cronbach's α values: 0.93-0.97) and stability (ICC = 0.984). Factor analysis accounted for 83.38% of variance, confirming its robustness. The DMA-S is set to enhance care for PPUI patients and guide treatment decisions effectively.

Omalizumab and newer therapies such as dupilumab and remibrutinib expand options for refractory disease, while future care may be guided by biomarkers and disease endotypes.
