
7-deaza-7-fluoro-2′-C-methyladenosine (DFA) exhibited strong in vitro and in vivo activity against yellow fever virus (YFV), including vaccine and clinical strains, with low toxicity. DFA reduced viral load and liver damage in mouse models. Its pan-flavivirus efficacy highlights DFA’s potential as a broad-spectrum antiviral therapeutic against YFV, Zika, dengue, and more, supporting further development for clinical use.
