Diagnosis, treatment, and survival from kidney cancer: real‐world NHS England data between 2013‐2019

The study examined the incidence, diagnosis routes, treatments, and survival rates. Most patients were aged 0-70 years and were diagnosed with early-stage kidney cancer. Non-urgent GP referrals were the most common route to diagnosis, followed by the two-week wait and emergency routes. Treatment choices varied based on disease stage, patient factors, and treatment networks. Survival outcomes differed based on stage, histological subtype, and social deprivation.
