
Frontotemporal degeneration (FTD) is a rare, complex disease with no approved therapies and challenging symptom tracking. Digital health technologies (DHTs) are emerging tools capable of capturing subtle impairments across cognitive, behavioral, motor, and speech domains. This review outlines current DHT advancements, major development challenges, and a proposed roadmap to create fit-for-purpose tools, aiming to accelerate therapy discovery and improve clinical trial outcomes in FTD.
