The study evaluated the efficacy and safety of doravirine (DOR) in 147 elderly people living with HIV (PLWH) switching to a DOR-based regimen. At 48 weeks, virologic control was maintained in 96.1% of patients. Significant reductions were observed in fasting glycemia (p=0.019), triglycerides (p=0.024), and inflammation markers IL-6 (p=0.019) and hs-CRP (p=0.019). These findings highlight DOR as a safe, effective option with potential anti-inflammatory benefits.
