The Food Safety and Drugs Control Commissionerate (FSDCC) in Rajasthan has recently released a list of seven medications that did not meet the required quality standards during testing. These drugs, randomly sampled from local pharmacies, were found to be subpar in terms of purity and potency. Among the identified medicines, an antibiotic exhibited substandard quality. The list includes nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) with pain-relief and fever-reducing properties, medications for fever treatment, diabetes management, ovulation induction in women, and a gastrointestinal remedy. Officials have confirmed these findings. - TNN
