The study investigates the relationship between hyperuricemia and dyslipidemia using a 298,891 physical examination records dataset. Analyzing data from Yijishan Hospital in Wuhu, China, logistic regression reveals that patients with dyslipidemia have 1.878 times higher odds of hyperuricemia. Notably, hypertriglyceridemia and mixed hyperlipidemia are associated with 1.753 and 1.925 times higher odds, respectively. Elevated levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol, and non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol also contribute to hyperuricemia. The study underscores the independent link between dyslipidemia and hyperuricemia.
