A study revealed that structured interventions during pregnancy, like a Mediterranean diet or mindfulness-based stress reduction, enhance child neurodevelopment. The study involved 1,221 pregnancies at high risk for small-for-gestational-age newborns. Children exposed to these interventions showed higher cognitive and social-emotional scores than those receiving usual care. This research highlights the significance of lifestyle interventions for expectant mothers in promoting healthier child neurodevelopment.
