This retrospective study on 205 idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) patients undergoing lung transplantation (LTx) explores the safety of antifibrotic agents (AFAs) pre-LTx. Among 58 patients receiving AFAs, no significant increase in post-operative complications was observed. The AFA group exhibited lower rates of primary graft dysfunction and 90-day mortality, suggesting potential benefits without added risks in the peri-operative period.
