
The review assessed the impact of exercise interventions based on family or self-management on glycemic control. Ten studies encompassing 913 subjects were analyzed, revealing that these interventions significantly reduced HbA1c, fasting glucose, 2-hour plasma glucose, and low-density lipoproteins levels compared to control groups. The findings underscore the potential for family and self-managed exercise interventions to delay T2DM progression and mitigate complications effectively.
