A retrospective study conducted between June 2021 and April 2022 analyzed 106 non-small cell lung cancer patients who underwent thoracoscopic lobectomy. The study utilized Peplau's interpersonal relationship theory, and the patients were divided into two groups: one receiving targeted nursing interventions and the other receiving conventional care. Results indicate that Peplau's group exhibited lower illness uncertainty and higher recovery quality than the control group. This multimodal perioperative nursing approach benefits lung cancer patients and expands the practical application of Peplau's theory in clinical settings, offering insights for standardized care in anesthesia.
