Women with problematic menopausal symptoms often have lower quality of life and higher healthcare use. While not all can or want hormone replacement therapy, other options like physical activity need more evidence. The study reviewed the effectiveness of physical activity interventions for menopause symptoms. Seventeen systematic reviews covering 8983 participants were assessed using AMSTAR-2 and SWIM methods. Results indicated yoga may improve physical, urogenital, and total symptoms, while evidence for aerobic exercise and other activities was limited. A broader categorization of women beyond menopause status is needed for a better intervention context.
