The current study looked at the effects of a gross motor skill-based exercise intervention on preschoolers' micro-and macro-vascular health—this sub-study of a five-arm clinical experiment with 68 children from six kindergartens. Motor-skill-based interventions are practical ways to include physical activity in pre-schools and develop gross motor skills early. Further research into the possibility of motor skill-based therapies as a primary preventative method in healthy preschoolers is needed.
