This split-mouth study aimed to compare the effects of kinesiologic tape (KT) on postoperative pain, swelling, and trismus following the surgical removal of mandibular third molars. Fifteen patients with bilaterally impacted mandibular third molars were included, with one side receiving KT application (Group A) and the other serving as a control (Group B). Evaluation on postoperative days 1, 2, and 7 revealed that pain was significantly less in Group A on the first day, with reduced swelling and improved mouth opening on subsequent days, indicating the potential benefits of KT in managing postoperative sequelae.
