Efficiency and Clinical Efficacy of Digital Workflows for Implant Crowns Compared

A study assessed four digital workflows for posterior single implant crowns (PSIC). Twenty-two patients with a missing first molar received screw-retained implant crowns through different methods: fully digital with the immediate digital impression, fully digital with appearance after osseointegration, hybrid with the primary analogue image, and hybrid with analogue print after osseointegration. Results showed shorter working times for fully digital workflows, with improved prosthetic efficiency and clinical applicability. In conclusion, digital workflows with quick impressions proved efficient for PSIC fabrication.
