Efgartigimod Shows Promise in Myasthenic Crisis Management

A real-world study on five patients with myasthenic crisis (MC) found that intravenous efgartigimod led to significant symptom improvement, reduced IgG levels, and minimal adverse events. Four patients achieved minimal symptom expression within weeks. While ICU stay and ventilation duration remained unchanged, efgartigimod offers a fast-acting, non-invasive option for managing MC.
