This study focused on the usage of a surf tablet, an eHealth device designed to bridge the gap between in-hospital care and children's homes. The study aimed to investigate the factors associated with parents' use of the surf tablet, specifically examining the influence of eHealth literacy, satisfaction with their child's healthcare, and their satisfaction with the surf tablet. The study included parents of neonates who had received advanced in-hospital care and were subsequently discharged home. The findings revealed that parental satisfaction with the surf tablet was associated with higher tablet activity, but there was no significant correlation with eHealth literacy or healthcare satisfaction. In essence, the study highlighted that the user-friendliness of eHealth devices and the availability of technical support are critical factors for ensuring equal access to healthcare through eHealth tools.
