Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) effectively monitors regional ventilation changes after chest physiotherapy (CPT) in pediatric patients. This feasibility study involved 25 patients, resulting in 54 EIT measurements. No significant difference in ventilation distribution was found before and after CPT for most cases. However, a decrease in the global inhomogeneity index (∆GI: -10%) was observed in active CPT patients. Localized pulmonary findings showed increased lung ventilation after CPT.
