Emergency room practitioners (n=56) believe children's risky play promotes resilience, developing emotional and physical coping skills. Three key themes emerged: perseverance through failure, distress tolerance, and autonomy. Despite acknowledging the need to intervene in severe injuries, they emphasized supporting children's boundaries during play without adult interference. Findings suggest that such play contributes to children's cognitive, social, and physical development.
