Endoscopic‐Indocyanine Green Angiography Assisted Microtia Reconstruction

This article discusses a novel and minimally invasive method for obtaining a temporoparietal fascia flap, which is commonly used in reconstructive surgery for children with microtia, a condition characterized by underdeveloped ears. The technique involves utilizing intra-operative Indocyanine Green Angiography, a procedure that has not been previously applied in this context. The purpose of employing this imaging technique is to enhance the viability of the flap while reducing the potential for facial nerve damage during the procedure.
