A recent study published in Scientific Reports suggests that the combination of tocilizumab and infliximab, in addition to standard care, may be a promising treatment for moderate and severe COVID-19 patients. The study involved 153 patients divided into three groups, with the tocilizumab/infliximab group showing a significantly lower length of hospital stay, need for a non-invasive mechanical ventilator, intensive care admission, the occurrence of sepsis, and death rates compared to the tocilizumab and standard of care groups.
