The study aimed to compare pregnancy and neonatal outcomes among different subtypes of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The cohort consisted of 121 patients with PCOS and 125 healthy controls. PCOS patients were categorized into four phenotypes (A, B, C, and D) based on specific criteria. The results showed that primary cesarean deliveries were more common in PCOS patients compared to the control group. Phenotype A had higher rates of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and fetal macrosomia compared to controls. Additionally, the PCOS group had lower rates of normal risk scores on the double screening test for aneuploidy compared to controls. Overall, the study demonstrated that pregnancy outcomes varied depending on the PCOS phenotype.
