The study found that both SGA and LGA infants faced increased risks for stillbirth, neonatal death, infant death, low Apgar score at 5 minutes, and admission to the neonatal intensive care unit compared to infants born at average gestational age (AGA). However, the risks were similar regardless of whether non-customized or customized charts were used. The study suggests that using customized charts for SGA/LGA infants may not provide significant benefits in identifying those at risk of adverse perinatal outcomes.

Omalizumab and newer therapies such as dupilumab and remibrutinib expand options for refractory disease, while future care may be guided by biomarkers and disease endotypes.
