It highlights recent findings, including the role of myocardial edema and the bradykinin receptor B1 (B1R) in cardiac dysfunction. Despite significant research, effective treatments remain elusive, underscoring the need for further exploration. The review also discusses existing therapeutic challenges and potential future research directions.
