Acting on a tip-off, authorities arrested Khimaram Kumhar in Ahmedabad with 99 boxes of fake antibiotic tablets. Further investigations revealed a network involving Arun Amera and Vipul Degda. The fake drugs were supplied without bills to doctors across different cities. The seized medicines were falsely labeled manufactured by a non-existent pharmaceutical company in Himachal Pradesh. The accused individuals have been detained for further investigation under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act,  1940.
