The study aimed to explore the impact of changes in fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and postprandial glucose (PPG) on hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and time-in-range (TIR) in individuals with type 1 (T1D) and type 2 diabetes (T2D) using insulin lispro injections. Multivariate regression models revealed that reductions in both FPG and PPG significantly correlated with HbA1c changes. Moreover, the reductions were associated with increased TIR, emphasizing the importance of balanced management for glycemic control in diabetes patients undergoing multiple daily injections.
