This study explored the care experiences of parents whose pregnancy was diagnosed with a fatal fetal anomaly following the legalization of termination of pregnancy in 2019 in Ireland. The study results identified three superordinate themes: ‘Attachment and coping’ ‘, There is no place for you in the pregnancy world’, and ‘Consistency of quality care’. Parents shared the different approaches and levels of attachment to their baby that supported their coping. Regardless of the level of attachment, many parents benefited from the acts of remembrance. Parents expressed how they no longer felt they belonged in the ‘pregnancy world’ and described a need for HCPs to recognize their loss and create a safe and supportive environment in which they could share their grief. Thus, this study highlighted parents’ need for consistent, well-communicated, and comprehensive care, which encourages an individualized perinatal palliative care approach to meet parental needs.

Nasal polyposis and earlier age at asthma onset were independently associated with treatment response, while obesity and total IgE levels were not independently associated with response. The findings support phenotype-oriented approaches to biologic selection and personalized asthma management.

A cross-sectional study investigated the associations between different types of screen time and developmental outcomes among children aged 0–6 years in Thailand. The study included 465 caregiver–child pairs, with 78.9% of children exceeding recommended screen time limits. Higher total and recreational screen time were associated with increased odds of suspected developmental delays, particularly receptive language and gross motor delays. Educational and communication-based screen time were associated with lower odds of delays in selected developmental domains. The findings highlight the importance of limiting recreational screen exposure and encouraging age-appropriate, interactive digital activities.
