
Analysis of 2,777 men aged ≥40 from NHANES 2005–2008 found food insecurity significantly increased odds of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), including incontinence and nocturia. Depression showed a dose-dependent association with LUTS and partially mediated this relationship, highlighting intertwined social and mental health factors.
