This study evaluates glaucoma risk in children post-cataract surgery receiving low-dose versus high-dose glucocorticoid treatment. Analyzing 267 children over a median follow-up of 40.5-89 months, findings indicate that low-dose glucocorticoids are linked to a reduced glaucoma risk in children with axial lengths ≥18 mm. High-dose treatment poses higher risk and should be minimized. Study includes both retrospective and prospective data.
