LC-MASLD burden is growing globally, especially in low-income countries. Incidence and prevalence rose by 0.73% annually, mortality by 0.19%, and DALYs by 0.16% from 1990–2021. The Middle East and North Africa had the highest rates of incidence and prevalence, while Andean and Central Latin America saw the highest mortality. The disease shows widening inequalities, with socioeconomic development contributing to disparities. Effective prevention and subregional interventions are crucial.
