The study investigated the association between blood glucose (BG) variability and clinical outcomes in patients with spontaneous cerebellar hemorrhage (SCH) undergoing surgery. A retrospective cohort of 115 patients was analyzed. BG variability, represented by the standard deviation (SD) of measurements within the first 7 days, was found to be a significant predictor of poor outcomes. Higher BG variability was associated with worse clinical outcomes at 6 months post-surgery. Multivariate analysis identified BG variability, GCS, and hematoma volume as significant predictors.
